So, tell us... what does this investigation of "nature" mean to you? Is it the fact that you've "ignored" it for so long that surprises you? That there is a true force of the natural that you find moving? That the fast-paced lives we lead can somehow walk us down a path of electronic-bliss yet leave us unsuspectingly lacking in the true nature of the world around us? What does it mean that the roaring stream is something you are only now in a place to notice?

Ha! Live Writer is a thing of the past now. If you haven't abandoned Microsoft yet and gotten yourself a Mac, I truly feel sorry for you. I use 'Ecto' on the Mac to do my blog editing now. Yea Mac!

Ok, so I have an update on my 'preference'. I recently went to donate again and I told the lady I wanted her to use my right arm. She got this frowny look and said ok. Apparently while my vein is close to the skin it is also cuts across my arm and then rolls around to the back side of it. Thus, when they put the needle in they had this problem where they could not get the blood out because the vein was bending around my arm. This had the negative side effect of slowing and eventually stopping the blood flow. They moved the needle around for a while in my arm hoping that they could fix the 'slowness'. In the end, the flow stopped and I had only gotten 1/2 a bag of blood. They could not switch arms and they can't use a 1/2 bag. So at the end of the day no one really came out on top. So, despite the fact I prefer my right arm I will probably have to go with my left if I hope to continue donating blood.

Brian,

I just have to say I ran across your blog and hands down you have some of the most extensive coverage of 360Flex. Thanks for putting this stuff up!

As a side note, if you or anyone is curious about my slides or the demo code from my presentation, you can find it here:

Cheers!

Thank you - your page came up in one of the Top 10 on Google for house fire alarms crazy - all of my fire alarms just went off and then shut up within like 15 seconds. So I am guess that either my house guest set them off or something like this is happening. I was very happy to hear that I was not alone.
However, I lucked out - this began before midnight for me.

Thanks again for the post, Rich

Brian:

Great write-up. Gleaned three new tricks in :10 minutes. Excellent.
Quick question -- do you have any more notes on calling AIR from the command line?

been a while since i've made a comment on the calendar.
in the new full-page view, i still can't get sunday things to show up (unless i have made them a continuation of a multi-day appointment). ?? luckily we don't have too much pressing going on on sundays, so no biggie.
just thought you'd want to know-- in the interest of working out all the bugs in the calendar. ;)
